Directions for Use
- If your dog has thick and/or multiple fur layers or easily mats, it is recommended to comb your dog prior to moving on to step #2.
- Thoroughly wash and condition your dog as you normally would, ensuring a thorough rinse out of all products. This step is extremely important when using Pearly Pooch.
- Apply a generous amount of Pearly Pooch in EVEN layers of the coat.
- Massage Pearly Pooch thoroughly into the coat and allow to sit for 40 seconds, ensure to not leave on for over a minute.
-
Using an open hand, gently move your hand upward through your pet's coat while rinsing with a shower head or wand. Ensure the water from the shower head or wand follows closely behind your hand. This technique helps to thoroughly remove the whitening wash from both the fur layers and your pet's skin. Repeat this step 2-3 time
- Now thoroughly do a full rinse as you normally would without using your hand as a guide.
- Complete a thorough visual check of your pets coat, looking for any hues of residual blue coloring. Using your shower head/wand with gentle water pressure, wash the area containing a blue hue while gently massaging the colored area with the tips of your fingers until color fades away.
- Once your dog is thoroughly rinsed, dry their coat with a towel by moving it upward through the fur layers, rather than downward and against them. Repeat this process from tail to neck 4-5 times.
- Allow to naturally air dry indoors and in a clean area without the use of dryers.
- Complete a final comb through once the coat is fully dry.
*Note:
Following the provided directions and in order is a highly important part when using Pearly Pooch Coat Whitening Wash.
Pearly Pooch Coat Whitening Wash contains an ingredient called'Blue Earth Salt' that when not used properly has the potential of staining the coat, leaving a hue of blue behind. While the blue hue does eventually fade away, it takes quite a bit of time. Following the provided directions for use guarantees your pets coat will not be left with any staining of the coat.
Helpful Tips:
- Failing to brush your dog’s coat before can lead to knotting and difficult tangles. When tangles or knots are wet, they tighten and can pull closer to the skin, causing severe matting. This matting can restrict the skin’s ability to breathe and potentially trap shampoo or conditioner between the mat and the skin. This can lead to various coat and skin issues.
- Providing a pre wash and/or condition acts as a protection barrier so that the whitening application slides right off your dogs coat during rinsing.
- Air drying is a great way of keeping your dogs coat and skin soft and nourished. Drying with blow dryers causes their coat and skin out, inducing itching while causing the fur to be dull, course, brittle, and dried out.
- It is best when to use all natural organic bath products, even when not using Pearly Pooch.
** Warning
- Keep out of reach of children
- Avoid contact with eyes. Pearly Pooch Whitening Wash contains the ingredient, 'Apple Cider Vinegar' which causes irritation to the eyes when in contact such as burning and stinging. If accidental contact is made with the eyes, use steady and gentle flowing lukewarm water to flush the eyes out. Do not rub.
- While Pearly Pooch Coat Whitening Wash conains all natural, chemical free, organic ingredients, it is not recommended for use in dogs under 5 months of age.
